ChatterBoxTM - Intelligent Network

ChatterBoxTM is a scalable, mission critical network-based IVR system that also supports Intelligent Peripheral/Service Node implementations. ChatterBox Communicates with a Service Control Point (SCP) via SR-3511 protocol, allows for fully self-contained network-based applications, and enables Telephone Service Providers (TSPs) to provide novel Intelligent Network (IN) based voice-response capabilities.

ChatterBoxTM - Call Center

ChatterBox'sTM unique architecture allows for the separation of the VRU function from the runtime environment and provides robust and dynamic IVR applications for large Call Centers, centralized or geographically dispersed. It supports automatic fail-over, multiple applications and languages, and voice and data integration.

GhostWriterTM - Service Creation Environment

GhostWriterTM is a powerful Service Creation Environment/Application Creation Tool for IVR scripts. This Windows-based GUI tool enables the developer to create new applications easily, and allows the creation of new containers and Service Independent Building Blocks (SIBBs), thereby providing unmatched flexibility and power. It allows for data driven scripts in a multi-tenant shared environment. This provides crash proof real time dynamic script allocation based upon DNIS or other data.

ScatterBoxTM - Provisioning System

ScatterBoxTM is the provisioning component of the VSP SuiteTalkTM family of products. It manages the orderly distribution of Announcements, Scripts, and Call Plans and other data objects to large IVR Systems, Intelligent Peripherals and Service Nodes that are constructed of multiple ChatterBox units distributed across multiple sites.

PopBoxTM - Screen Pop-Ups

PopBoxTM implements CTI in the Call Center. It coordinates the simultaneous display of customer data with the transfer of a call to the CSR. It also enables access to telephone functions via the terminal network and integrates voice and data information. It integrates seamlessly with ChatterBox.

Legacy System GatewayTM - Data Access Gateway
LSGTM provides access to needed data, regardless of its location or format, with an easy to use GUI tool at a PC workstation. It provides a full suite of host and network service access routines, allows simultaneous access to multiple data sources, shortens call handling time, and reduces LAN traffic.

ShadowBoxTM - Fault Tolerant File Server

VSP SuiteTalkTM Intelligent Peripherals (IPs) or Service Nodes (SNs) can be built with a distributed or a centralized architecture. Centralized systems are built around two or more ShadowBoxTM Fault Tolerant File Servers. Multiple high-speed local area networks connect many IP/SN Elements to the ShadowBoxesTM. Announcements and Service Logic as well as other required file elements are stored locally and accessed across the networks. Advanced file access facilities automatically balance load across the networks and the servers and provide the resiliency for an IP Node to fully survive the failure of one or even several ShadowBoxTM servers. Calls in progress continue uninterrupted and without failover delay. Nodes of any size or degree of reliability can be constructed by adding networks and servers to bear the load through single or multiple failures.

SwitchBoxTM - Signaling Gateway

Currently, pure AIN networks rely on primary rate ISDN for in-band signaling. Practically, however, it is often much more suitable to use out-of-band SS7 signaling to support an IP or SN. The standard SwitchBoxTM Signaling Gateway is based upon the Digital Alpha Platform and the Digital SS7 stacks. It is deployed as a pair of SwitchBoxTM Gateways servicing the IP/SN Elements at an IP Node. The IP/SN Node appears as a single point code and the link set is split across the SwitchBoxTM Gateways providing protection against a single gateway failure. The SwitchBoxTM supports the lower levels of the protocol stack with the higher level of the protocol stack managed on the associated IP/SN Elements. Routing of signaling traffic between the SwitchBoxTM Gateways and the ChatterBoxTM IP/SN Elements is managed by the Digital SS7 product. Automatic circuit blocking is provided in the event of an IP/SN Element failure.

JunctionBoxTM - IP Node Manager

As IP/SN Nodes grow in size, it becomes impractical to manage these Nodes by managing their individual IP/SN Elements. It is also often inefficient to connect each and every IP/SN Element to an external database or host. JunctionBoxTM provides the facilities to consolidate these functions and connections at the Node level rather than at the Element level. Normally deployed in pairs, JunctionBoxTM consolidates the alarm stream generated by other network elements into a single, common alarm stream for the Node. JunctionBoxTM monitors the network elements to insure that they are operational and provides a single point of control for managing the Node and its associated Elements. Statistics and status are consolidated at the JunctionBoxTM where they are converted to SNMP format for delivery to a standard network management tool or data collector. Connection to existing Service Provider equipment is normally housed on the JunctionBoxTM and made available via network to the IP/SN elements requiring access.
